2nd Map: de_train – 1st Half
Moscow 5 won the knife round on de_train and decided to start off as Counter Terrorists. Alternate pushed slowly via the ivy as Kathi took down tATu. However, M5 thwarted the push and won the pistol round. It was the famas round for CT and they used them well as round 2 went to M5 as well. Alternate rushed inner the next round and managed a ninja plant even as Vendetta’s lolgrenade found a victim. Scores now were 3-0 in favor of M5.
Sa1nt closed the next round for Alternate in the 4th round. Alternate then planned a split push from the pop-dog, ivy and stormed the outer site with only Melkaya getting anything on iRene who was then downed by IpSa. The scores now were 4-1 with M5 leading as CT. Alternate managed an outer plant in the very next round and made it 4-2, still trailing by 2 rounds. Alternate soon managed to level the score after yet another game pause. Melkaya tried quite hard in the 9th but despite 2 nice USP kills, couldn’t defuse the bomb. The scores were now 5-4 in favor of Alternate.
An inner rush followed this time with Melkaya making light work of beyoNd* and Son1a unleashing her awp. After being taken out by IpSa it seemed that Alternate would get a plant but tATu and Sa1nt closed it for Alternate. The next round saw a very aggressive Melkaya up the ladder and thwarted the inner push as M5 got another round.
Alternate repeated what had earlier worked for them – a split push and soon leveled the scores at 6-6. M5 had a very interesting double M4 setup on the inner site’s ramp. However, Alternate replied with a good rush and planted at the inner site. Son1a saved her awp as Alternate took round#13. It continued as they took #14 as well. However, M5 replied with a final round win of the 1st half ending it 8-7 in Alternate’s favor.
2nd Map: de_train – 2nd Half
M5 took the inner route and won the crucial pistol round to put themselves immediately in the lead and the wielders of AK’s in the 2nd round. The 2nd round went to M5 as well with tATu and Vendetta with 3 kills a piece. tATu’s flamboyant play style was again very instrumental in helping M5 win the 3rd round with a successful bomb plant. This time M5 did a split push with Melkaya taking out an entry frag on zAAz and got a successful plant on the inner site.
Sa1nt played the sneaky game in the inner site and helped M5 take the 4th round. Once again, M5 got an early plant with Sa1nt watching the pop-dog ladder while Son1a took care of beyoNd*. 5-0 so far for M5! Yet another successful plant on the inner site and Alternate looked clueless with the scores plunging to 6-0 for M5. Vendetta’s AK rang to seal the 7th round while Son1a’s awp silenced Alternate as the score now reached 8-0. zAAz pulled a sneaky one on an inner plant attempt in the 9th as tATu went down with the scores reaching 8-1.
It was a 3 vs. 1 with zAAz hoping to get lucky on the outer site as M5 took the 2nd map and the tournament 2-0.
